Some eighteen ARSC committees provide organizational administration, conduct specific projects, and address issues benefiting the field of recorded sound. Two longstanding ARSC programs deserve special mention: Grants and Awards. The ARSC Grants Program funds scholarship, publication, and preservation in sound recording fields. The ARSC Awards for Excellence recognize outstanding published research, while the Lifetime Achievement Award and the Award for Distinguished Service recognize individuals who have devoted a life’s work to the field. ARSC has a long tradition od recording conference sessions. We recognize the research value these recordings have to offer and take pride in making them available to our community. When possible, slide presentations are included. All conference recordings can be searched by Keyword, Author, Title, Volume, Year, and Resource Type via AMP!, the new ARSC Media & Publications online search tool. Current ARSC membership is required to download recording back to 2011. Recording before 2011 are available to the general public.
